What Makes a High-Quality Grease?

Industrial grease is a semi-solid lubricant composed of:

• Base oils – mineral, synthetic, or biodegradable, chosen for viscosity and operating conditions.
• Thickeners – lithium, lithium complex, calcium sulfonate, aluminum complex, and polyurea are the most common.
• Performance additives – enhance protection against oxidation, wear, and extreme pressure (EP).
